The Painted Day began with a love of art and the simple joy of bringing color into everyday life. We’re a mother-daughter team combining a lifetime of fine art with thoughtful design.
Every piece begins with an original painting by Mom, Tama Meyer. Her passion for creating and sharing art shaped a 25-year career as an art teacher, and she continues teaching today, helping retired educators explore their own creativity.
Behind the scenes, Daughter brings those paintings to everyday essentials through layout and product design, while keeping the shop running. Thoughtfully printed on totes, journals, and more, Mom’s artwork finds a life beyond the frame, ready to be carried, used, and enjoyed.
For us, it’s a way to share something meaningful: her paintings, our creative partnership, and the belief that ordinary moments deserve a brushstroke of color.
